No. Laser Skin Tightening and Laser Body Contouring are not weight loss solutions. These are non-surgical solutions to help tighten and contour the skin around already existing muscle.
This technology uses heat to break down fat cells and stimulate collagen and elastin formation. There may be some discomfort as it relates to heat during the procedure. The level of discomfort relates to the time spent on the body area and the thickness of the subcutaneous fat.
None! It is recommended you drink 8-10 glasses of water a day in order to avoid excessive perspiration. We also recommend avoiding alcohol consumption for at least 3 days after the treatment.
Typically, you can schedule a follow up treatment every 2-3 weeks. We usually recommend 6 treatments per area, depending on the area.
Refrain from using products containing alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids, benzyl peroxide, retinoids or exfoliation on the face for at least two weeks prior to treatments. Exfoliation includes microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, and chemical peels. If you’re taking antibiotics or steroids, schedule your appointment at least two weeks following your last dose.
We strongly encourage you to make a commitment of staying out of the sun and avoid the use of sunscreen after the treatment and beyond. Spots will return if your skin is exposed to the sun without protection.
